Rachel Fenwick
Rachel, one of the co-founders of the Wellington Bowmen has been with us from the very beginning. Rachel, having reached Grand Master Bowmen, shot at International level as well as the Olympic Games. She is a Guinness book holder for breaking FITA records and holds a Bronze medal from the Berlin World Championships.
She can be found on the line most weeks.
Ivor Thomas
Ivor
took up archery when living in Western Australia. The club's name
was Gosnells Archers and had only a dozen or so keen archers in
1969. Within 5 years the club had become one of the biggest archery
clubs in Western Australia. In 1974 he return to England to find that there were no convenient archery clubs in his area. 26 years past with no access to any archery clubs, when on his retirement, the Wellington Bowmen were started. He is still there to this day.
